ZhongDe Wastes technology AG: Introduction for DingZhou Waste-to-Energy Project

Dingzhou waste-to-energy project is one of the key project of the company. The project is located in Dingzhou TangHe Recycling Economy Industrial Park and covers an area of 100 mu. The total construction costs for the project amount to RMB 268.8 million with daily waste capacity of 600 tons at the first stage and 300 tons reserved for the second stage. The total annual maximum disposal capacity at the first stage amounts to 219,000 tons. The annual power generation capacity is approximate 68.98×106kWh. The project is equipped with 2 sets of 22.3t/h mechanical furnace boilers with daily capacity of 300 tons each and one 9MW condensing air-cooled turbines. The project adopts advanced power generation technology for municipal waste incineration treatment, which is in line with the national policy requirements for energy-saving and emission-reduction, environmental protection and comprehensive utilization of resources.
Dingzhou waste-to-energy project will serve “two cities and three counties”, as the waste output from a single city could not meet the requirements for the stable operation for the incineration power plant. Therefore, the project is built in the form of city alliance. The service scope of Dingzhou project includes Dingzhou City, Anguo City, Wangdu County, Tang County and QuYang County. Based upon the daily waste output from the city alliance, Dingzhou project is designed with current waste disposal capacity of 600 tons/day and 900 tons/day in the long term. The project is located on the plain of north China. With flat terrain and good road planning it meets the requirements of the engineering geological conditions for the project construction. Dingzhou project can realize the target of harmless, reducing and resourceful waste disposal and achieve better economic and social benefits, which are not only in line with national energy and environmental protection policies, but also comply with the development plan of Hebei province.
At present, about 73% of the EPC project has been completed, including the construction work for the main plant, office building, complex building and other single buildings, all of which have been put into use and the equipment installation has been basically completed. Except for the power access system and the electrical secondary wiring work, the commissioning and defect elimination work have been fully underway.
Dingzhou project is expected to realize grid-connection and power generation and to be put into formal commercial operation at the end of June 2018.
